The workshop is based on the study of the Spencerian script, which was used in the United States during IXth century. This style, developed from the English Cursive, stands out for its delicately shaded lowercase and prominent capitals, with very intense shadows obtained with a special tool and a pointed pen.
During the course students will focus on the rhythm of writing, learning lowercase and capitals of the Spencerian. The main goal is to maintain a light hand as well as a fluid and constant mark.
Workshop for beginners and for those who want to deepen.
The workshop will start on Friday afternoon (from 14:30 to 18:30) and will continue for the full days of Saturday and Sunday (from 9:30 to 18:30).
